It's a peppermint-based barrier — a scent mice steer clear of — in a protective oil film that makes treated areas unpleasant to cross. How do mice even get into a stored RV?

From underneath. A parked trailer sits inches off the ground, and the stabilizer jacks act like ramps a mouse walks right up. Once at the frame, they follow wiring pass-throughs, gaps and tears in the belly wrap, and plumbing holes straight into the insulation. You never see the entry points — they're all on the underside.

Is the coating safe on wiring, brakes, and tanks?

Yes. It's applied like any underbody coating and is safe on wiring, brake lines, rubber, and plastic tanks. We keep it off working brake surfaces and moving parts.

Does it smell inside the RV?

Depending on the product used, the coating may have a mild scent, but it's applied to the underbody — not inside your living space. Most people notice little to nothing indoors once the RV is aired out.

How long does it last? Do I need it every year?

One coat protects for a full year — while you're using the RV and while it sits between trips or parked for a stretch. Have it redone once a year and you're covered.

I already use dryer sheets and traps. Isn't that enough?

Those help inside, but they don't do anything at the underbody, where mice actually get in. An underbody barrier coating makes those entry points less inviting before mice reach your insulation and wiring — and it works best alongside cleaning out food and sealing obvious gaps.

When should I book it?
